2004 NOV 1 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- A new analysis shows that Actonel (risedronate sodium tablets) treatment up to 3 years significantly reduces the risk of vertebral and nonvertebral fragility fracture by 75% in postmenopausal women with osteopenia.
These data were presented during an oral presentation at The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) annual meeting.
