EKOWOOD Malaysia Sdn Bhd could have made a name for itself locally, but the timber-flooring manufacturer made a conscious decision to go knocking on the doors of strangers first.

"If I don't compete internationally, I won't know the benchmarks,'' said Datuk Kelvin Tan Aik Pen, group managing director of TSH Resources Bhd which owns Ekowood.
Naturally, the quality awards coming its way now makes it all that much more satisfying.
