My nationality is Dutch and I live in Amsterdam at the moment, but I was born in Indonesia on the Isle of Bali in November 1932.

Bali is a very special Island with a Hindu based religion and all kinds of colorful customs. Just like PEI nowadays, some of its special places are crowded with tourists. But when I was small, it was a quiet place. We had to move a lot because of my father's job. And some times we stayed in places where there was not yet any electricity.
