Hurricane Hydrocarbons Ltd. ("Hurricane") announces that it it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities and with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a secondary public offering of its common shares. The selling shareholder is Central Asian Industrial Holdings N.V. ("CAIH"). Hurricane will not receive any proceeds from the offering.
