Model Portfolio of 'Best Ideas' From S&P Equity Analysts Shows 13.9% Annual Return Since Inception 1/1/1997
Standard & Poor's, a leading provider of independent research, indices and ratings, today announced the constituents of the S&P PowerPicks 2003 Portfolio, a model portfolio containing 40 stocks that its equity analysts consider their "best ideas" for the coming year. The 40 stocks are chosen from among more than 1,230 U.S. stocks covered by Standard & Poor's team of 60 equity analysts under the Standard & Poor's "STARS" (STock Appreciation Ranking System).
