KwaZulu-Natal residents have breathed a sigh of relief after the provincial legislature voted unanimously against four new toll plazas in the province.
Plans by the National Roads Agency (NRA) to construct four new plazas at Isipingo, Cato Ridge, Spaghetti Junction outside Durban and the road between Ladysmith in northern KZN and Ermelo in Mpumalanga provoked heated debate among legislature members last Thursday evening.
