I thought the July-August 2002 editorial "The Safety of Babies" was wonderful, a very considered response to an emotional issue. Kids In Danger (www.KidsInDanger. org) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children by improving children's product safety. KID was founded in 1998 by parents whose 16-month-old son, Danny, was killed in a defective recalled portable crib.
