The Lawyers Association of Kansas City and Kansas City Harmony got together Tuesday for the 5th annual Youth Empowerment Summit, to help high school students face issues associated with diversity.
Four sessions were offered during the all-day event at Savior Pastoral Center in Kansas City, Kan., to help students and educators see what could be considered harassment, how they may misjudge people, and how many of their friends and colleagues have been faced with some kind of discrimination.
