Section: Corporate News - Total Access Communication (DTAC) is ready to move more aggressively after the change in the shareholding in its group last week, The Nation reports.
The country's second-largest cell-phone operator plans to launch new products and services frequently after the change, said DTAC's chief commercial officer Thana Thienachariya.
Sigve Brekke, the newly appointed chief executive of both DTAC and its parent United Communication Industry (Ucom), said that Norway's Telenor ASA had a long-term commitment to support DTAC in terms of finance and technology, especially in gearing up for investments in third-generation (3G) networks.
The national telecommunications regulator is expected to finish 3G licensing terms by the end of this year or early next.
