Thailand: Build to Built to offer unit trusts to homebuyers.

Build to Built Co Ltd, a home-builder focusing on the middle to upper market, announced on Wednesday it would launch an innovative campaign offering customers unit trusts as a kind of discount, to boost its sales during the rest of this year.
Managing director Sutee Ketsiri said the special offer would be extended to any customer booking a house at the Home and Garden Fair 2005, from November 1 to 6. The unit trusts would equal 5 per cent of the purchase price of their new homes.
"The offer is considered the biggest-ever discount the company has provided its customers since its establishment four years ago," he said.
The unit trusts will be issued by Kasikorn Asset Management Co Ltd.
Sutee hopes the upcoming fair will boost company sales in line with its target of Bt400 million. For the first nine months of this year, the company posted sales of Bt280 million, far off target by Bt120 million.
