Section: Corporate News - All Nippon Airways (ANA) plans to operate a cargo service from Bangkok to Kansai and Nagoya in Japan, starting early next year, The Nation reports.
Kimiya Arima, general manager for Thailand and Burma, said it was the first time the airline would service the routes. ANA will offer eight cargo flights a week to Japan: six from Bangkok to Kansai and two from Bangkok to Nagoya.
He said the airline expected to increase both passenger and cargo capacity between Thailand and Japan. The move will meet increased demand from business people, travellers and others who need to ship goods.
The Japan-Thailand Economic Partnership Agreement has led to better relations between the two countries and played a major role in supporting mutual exports and imports.
