Section: General News - The House committee on telecommunications on Wednesday called on the government to crack down on "illegal" television broadcasts via the Internet and satellites, The Nation reports.
"Many cable-TV operators have exploited legal loopholes to prejudice authorised television stations with unfair competition," committee member Wichit Plangsrisakul said.
