Canbank Mutual Fund has completed the formalities for acquisition of GIC Mutual Fund on October 17. Under the erstwhile GIC Mutual Fund, four schemes are still in operation, all of which have already been renamed by the Canbank Mutual Fund.

Sundaram Finance (SFL) has entered into an agreement with BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNP PAM), whereby the latter will buy a 49.90% stake in Sundaram Asset Management Company, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SFL.
