SEOUL, Oct 31 Asia Pulse - South Korean stocks closed 1.52 per cent higher Monday as large-cap issues got a lift from heavy institutional buying and last week's rally in U.S. stocks.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 17.39 points to 1,158.11, snapping a four-session losing streak.
Volume was moderate at 315 million shares worth 2.57 trillion won (US$2.47 billion)...
