SEOUL, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - South Korean stocks started higher Tuesday as foreign investors snapped up finance and bank shares.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 17.27 points, or 1.49 per cent, to 1,175.38 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
The 100-share, blue-chip KRX 100 gained 41.12 points, or 1.73 per cent, to 2,404.87, and the tech-heavy KOSDAQ index was up 4.71 points, or 0.80 per cent, at 592.17.
