Chennai, Oct 31 (PTI) Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd (BASL) today said its profit after tax for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 rose by 61 per cent to Rs 21.80 crore, compared to Rs 13.51 crore in the same period last year.
