Oct. 31--Motorists had a much easier time finding gasoline Sunday as South Florida's week-long fuel crisis seemed to subside, but today's start of the work week is sure to test that recovery.
While gas station operators said Miami-Dade County operations were nearly back to normal, many Broward County pumps remain idled by widespread power outages. But an afternoon survey of Broward gas stations found about 60 percent of the stations were open, and some had little or no wait at the pumps.
