This week s Logistics Bulletin reports on trading updates and third quarter results, contract wins, warehouse and technology developments from across the globe. Among the trading updates, C.H. Robinson has reported an increase in Q3 gross profits of 32.9%, to US$228.9 million and Ryder announced that in its SCS business segment, third quarter 2005 revenue totalled US$433.4 million, up 28.0% from 2004. In Europe, Norbert Dentressangle has reported sales for the first nine months of 2005 up by 5.9% to 1,031.0 million and in a trading update, Exel has reported that its contract logistics operations have delivered a good performance, with strong underlying organic growth combined with continued good performances from recent acquisitions.
