Oh, you know what they're like. Can't quite seem to juggle a happy home life with a productive career. You're afraid to ask them how they are because, rather than take it as the rhetorical question you meant it to be, they will instead tell you exactly how they feel, thus wasting another precious five minutes of your life.
And then, to make matters worse, they manage to suck the joy out of everything else by saying, whenever you have a good piece of news, "that must be nice - wish it would happen to me".
Yup, I'm talking, of course, about the Bridget Jones generation, those whiny, moaning... hang on, what? You mean this isBruce Jones we're talking about? Who the hell is Bruce Jones?
