KIERNAN: I couldn`t expect him to understand it because I could barely understand it myself.
VELSHI: He said it in a nice way. I think a few months ago somebody was a little overly critical about it and we (INAUDIBLE). But this guy was really nice about it.

VELSHI: OK. Today`s "Mutual Fundamentals" guests invests in more than 130 countries around the world. The Thomas White International Fund invests most of its money in developed markets like Britain, Europe, Canada and Japan. During the past year the fund`s up 40 percent. That`s even with its benchmark, which is the MSCI World Index Ex-U.S.
KIERNAN: Thomas White is the namesake of the fund, as well as its manager. He joins us now from Chicago with more....
