Oct. 28--Let the courting begin.

Irving officials are polishing their sales pitch as they head to Los Angeles next week to share Texas Stadium development scenarios with developers and experts at a national land-use conference.

The city hopes to get a better sense of what planners think could be built at the stadium site once the Dallas Cowboys move to a new home in Arlington.

City officials also want to strike up a few conversations and even nab some phone numbers.

They aren't expecting an offer....
