A Tangled Web
A large golden pumpkin can make a festive soup tureen at Thanksgiving or Hallowe'en. The base or trivet to set this tureen on can be a wreath woven from virginia creeper, decorated with dried flowers and autumn leaves. To create the soup tureen cut off the top of the pumpkin, removing the seeds as you scoop out the inside wall of the pumpkin. This is slippery work and requires a lot of washing and drying hands....
