NEW YORK, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh researchers say they have developed a series of tests to better predict Type 1 diabetes or juvenile diabetes.

Better forecasting of those most likely to develop Type 1 diabetes could lead to a vaccine or cure for this life-threatening illness, reported the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Friday.
