[Newsreader] Australia's main opposition party has released its strongest criticism yet of the government's anti-terrorism legislation, outlining a list of concerns it has about the bills. Adele Hodge reports:

[Hodge, in Canberra] The shadow attorney-general, Nicola Roxon, says the government is threatening to trample on the very freedoms Australia is fighting to protect.

[Roxon] We don't think that you should have far-reaching new powers if you don't make sure that you have strong safeguards in place.
