Halma Group has introduced its first group-level treasury function in an attempt to cut finance costs.
The company has recruited June Waldron to develop its treasury department. She says the new function wll be "centralised with a lower case 'C'" and consist solely of herself.
The recruitment of Waldron marks a move away from Halma's decentralised structure as the group tries to cut its finance costs and address foreign exchange issues.
