SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Professional skateboarder Eric Costello died from a head injury he suffered when his unbuckled helmet fell off during a California demonstration. He was 34.

The beloved skateboarder died Monday at a Santa Clara, Calif., hospital from Saturday's accident at Scotts Valley State Park, the San Jose (Calif.) Mercury News reported.
