BILL GRIFFETH, CNBC ANCHOR: Wal-Mart`s been making headlines again today, just today, with CEO Lee Scott in a speech to employees calling for an increase in the minimum wage and a new promise to be more environmentally conscious. Yesterday, the giant retail giant unveiled plans to offer cheaper healthcare plans to most of its workers. Are we seeing a kinder gentler Wal-Mart in making? Is it a publicity stunt? What`s going on here? Both sides of that issue with labor attorney Rick Berman, he`s CEO of Berman & Co in Washington. And Chris Kofinis is with with Wakeupwalmart.com, an activist campaign that`s been critical of the retailer. It`s run in part by the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.
