Uganda Improves in Global Media Freedom Ranking.

UGANDA has improved its image, climbing six places in the latest Global Press Freedom Index rankings. According to the rankings released by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) on Thursday, Uganda is in 80th position out of 167 countries, up from 86th last year.

Her East African partners, Tanzania and Kenya, are in 74th and 109th positions respectively. While Uganda made progress, her two counterparts made dramatic drops in their rankings with Tanzania slumping from the 62nd position and Kenya from the 82nd.
