Oct. 26--HOUSTON -- Texans may soon use some Russian natural gas to heat their homes.
Gazprom, the world's largest natural gas producer, has ambitious plans to build facilities to liquefy natural gas, ship it across the Atlantic and re-gasify it at U.S. ports. The gas could then be delivered to homes, businesses, electricity generators and other customers.
The Moscow company, which is 51 percent state-owned, is scouting for partners to share the work and cost.
Depending on which partners Gazprom chooses, the natural gas could come into Texas ports for processing and distribution...
