Summer is travel time for law librarians. Many of you did as I did and traveled first to Toronto in June for the Special Libraries Association's meeting and then to San Antonio in July for the AALL meeting. Here I cover the Toronto meeting.

The last time I went to Toronto was in the early 1980s. I was working as the librarian for a law firm that no longer exists [Friedman & Koven] and was sent to Toronto as a courier. I got to spend the day there and remember seeing an exhibit on Mandarin robes at the art museum before heading back. I was glad to return so I could sample more of the city's delights and take in the meetings and exhibits at SLA. As usual, we had a tabletop exhibit.
