There are certain suppliers who would like to persuade you to take a more proactive role in the market, but before you do so you've got to consider whether your store matches the typical consumer profile of a cocktail drinker.
The on-trade cocktail revolution is largely built around high-class style bars populated by consumers with high disposable incomes who are quite happy to spend GBP7 on a martini.
A lot of cocktails are stuffed with obscure liqueurs that cost a fair whack to buy a whole bottle of, with the risk for the consumer that they will end up sticking it in the back...
