Companies often rent 1800 numbers for a couple of months after a recall is announced. If the number given is no longer operating, phone the manufacturer or retailer direct.
THE PRODUCT: Groupe Sportif has recalled after-market Ergopost 3 road seatposts for bicycles in sizes TS1, TS2 and TL.
The problem: Aluminium parts may break and cause the rider to lose control of the bike.
What to do: Don't use it. Return it to an authorised Look dealer for replacement, call (03) 9888 9882 or email help@groupesportif.com.
THE PRODUCT: Coast to Coast Imports has recalled Action Archery Playsets with a 56 cm long yellow archer's bow plus three 36 cm long red arrows tipped with soft suction cups--product code 9330049005133, sold through discount stores in NSW from August 2001 to November 2001 (inclusive).
The problem: The arrows are an eye hazard.
What to do: Take them away from children....
