VETERAN woman politician in Plateau State, Ngo Hannatu Chollom has appealed to those scheming for a third term for President Olusegun Obasanjo not to destroy the PDP or the country in pursuing their agenda.
Ngo Chollom, who led a group of PDP women from the state to the National Secretariat of the party to protest the handling of the party's affairs in Plateau told journalists in Jos, yesterday that the various undemocratic actions being taken were in line with the alleged third term agenda.
She said President Obasanjo could not be completely exonerated from blame over the problem in the PDP across the country and especially in Plateau State alleging that some people had become tools of destabilization to further the sit-tight agenda."Nobody can say exactly what is happening in Plateau state. If Baba (Obasanjo) wants to come back for the third term, it is not by destroying party structures.
