This month's lecture is brought to you by Viva Michoacan -- or, rather, the gang of rowdies we encountered while dining there.

Let's start with a little math: A fully loaded restaurant tray can weigh as much as 50 pounds. An average-sized server, fully loaded or not, weighs in somewhere around 150 to 200 pounds. That's 200 to 250 pounds no matter how you look at it.

Cut to Viva Michoacan, where pint-sized dervishes were whirling in the aisles: Little kid + server bearing tray = splat. Consideration of other customers notwithstanding, have ya thought about this, parents? And what about those kids who were down rolling around? I don't even want to think about what's on the floor of the average restaurant, and I'm not talking about fully loaded servers....
