The city of Las Vegas will close the Sky Vue Mobile Home Park at 5 p.m. today.
City officials set the deadline after a District Court judge cleared the way for them to shut down the park because of health concerns.
District Judge Kathy Hardcastle on Thursday lifted a temporary restraining order that had prevented the closure of the park.
In lifting the order, the judge questioned why the park's owners, Sandi and David DiMarco, had not fixed persistent problems ranging from raw sewage leaks to fire hazards despite two years of wrangling with city officials.
"They have had two years and they haven't done anything," the judge said.
The ruling left residents, some of whom held out hope they could remain at Sky Vue, scurrying to make arrangements to move.
"Everybody's scrambling," said Anna McDonald, who was boxing up her belongings to move to an apartment at Cheyenne Avenue and Lamb Boulevard.
