I don't know any Mac users who are aware of the claims that nearly half the latest G5 models will overheat and die in their first year. If BMW was discovered to be selling a model of car that had to go back to the factory in 40 per cent of cases, I can't imagine it remaining a secret. And yet, Popular Electronics magazine has gone into print claiming that 40 per cent of Apple G5 Macs had to be sent back 'for repair or replacement' - so where is the outcry?
