MARK HAINES, CNBC ANCHOR: Higher product prices, better price controls helping Tractor Supply Company beat the Street. The country`s leading retailer of rural lifestyle products reported results after the bell last night. Here are the numbers, earnings, 45 cents a share, 7 cents ahead of estimates, net sales up more than 12 percent. Same-store sales, about 2 percent higher, the better-than-expected results lifting the company`s stock which has been under pressure the last three months. Joining us "First on CNBC," from Nashville, Jim Wright, CEO of Tractor Supply Company.
