Oct. 22--The mousy MetroStars won a playoff match last night, the sort of result that reads very much like a fluke but appeared in person more like a geometric proof.
The Metros triangulated New England to death, 1-0, with a purposeful attack highlighted by a nifty goal from Amado Guevara in the 34th minute.
