The VIII Air Cargo Americas International Congress and Exhibition is the largest air cargo exhibition in the Western Hemisphere, and will be expanded by more than 30% this year. Aviation leaders in the Western Hemisphere developed the show and conference in 1991 as a forum for aviation executives to exchange views, develop strategies to enhance the growth of the air cargo industry in the Americas and showcase the latest products and technologies.

The 2005 show is being sponsored by ALACAT to increase the representation of freight forwarders and logistics companies in Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal.

The 2005 show offers excellent opportunities for companies to market their products and services to the leading manufacturers, exporters, freight forwarders, importers and distributors in the Western Hemisphere.

An intensive recruitment effort is underway in South and Central America to increase the number of attendees from the Americas. Members of the Air Cargo Americas Steering Committee are traveling to key markets to brief logistics personnel (freight forwarders, custom brokers, shippers, exporters, importers) on the show.
