Asia Muhammad turned 13 just a couple of weeks ago, but coach Tim Blenkiron of the Andre Agassi Boys & Girls Club said she has outstanding potential as a tennis player.
Muhammad teamed with Krista Damico of Parker, Colo., to win the Girls 14 doubles championship in the U.S. Tennis Association Easter Bowl National Junior Championships in Palm Springs, Calif., this month.
And Muhammad won at the prestigious junior tournament despite having played tennis only four years.
