I often deliver food or cater parties in large office buildings. I could never work in such an environment where all the men wear ties, suits and shiny black (occasionally brown) shoes with tassels. The smell of cologne is everywhere. Women are nicely dressed too. Papers, folders and documents go back and forth. Computer screens blaze and bright fluorescent lights shine. It all looks very formal and somewhat sterile. It's not for me.
The hospitality and restaurant business is so different. The energy is raw and edgy. Almost everything is needed 10 minutes ago. All is creativity and chaos. Food flies everywhere; cooks yell for things in several languages.
