Oct. 13--OCALA, Fla. -- Sprint Nextel telephone workers could be in for a protracted strike, the union local president said Wednesday.
Members of the Communications Workers of America went on strike Monday against the communications company. About 200 workers in nine Florida counties were participating in the strike Wednesday, said CWA Local 3176 president Bob Campbell said.
