Companies often rent 1800 numbers for a couple of months after a recall is announced. If the number given is no longer operating, phone the manufacturer or retailer direct.
CHILD CAR SEAT: Britax Childcare has recalled MaxiRider Convertible Booster Seat, series 10/A/2000, manufactured between 17 May and 26 May 2005, with an inspection label with the number '63' at the back of the seat on the left-side bottom corner. The manufacture date can be found on the back of the seat at the top, under the pocket.
The problem: The upper anchorage strap adjuster may be incorrectly assembled, and in the event of an accident will not hold the child restraint.
