There may be a lot of little tricks that can help you optimize your ATV for sand riding, but nothing will make as much difference as your tire selection. Unless you are lucky enough to have years of dune riding experience, sand tire selection can be difficult. There are many different designs, sizes and manufacturers.
The question is, how can a rider be sure they are getting the tire that will make their time in the sand the most enjoyable? Where does one even begin?
