FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ Florida Gov. Jeb Bush on Friday defended Carnival Cruise Lines' $192 million charter of three ships for hurricane relief, saying critics who have labeled it a "sweetheart deal" are wrong, and that the unfair charge could inhibit companies in Florida from stepping forward in the future if a similar hurricane situation develops here.
