MARIA BARTIROMO, CNBC ANCHOR: For environmentalists, drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is a no go. Our next "Hot Topic" tonight, drilling in Alaska. Supporters are pushing even harder to open up that area now after disruptions to U.S. oil flow following the recent hurricanes. But will the benefits outweigh the costs to the environment? Joining me from Washington to talk about it, Melinda Pierce, chief Arctic lobbyist for the Sierra Club, and Republican Congressman Devin Nunes of California.

BARTIROMO: Representative, let me begin with you. How do we know there`s such rich oil in ANWAR if we haven`t even drilled there yet?
