MARIA BARTIROMO, CNBC ANCHOR: Ron, as Hurricane Rita moves closer to making landfall, chemical sites in the storm`s projected path are threatened. The Texas coast is home to half of the chemical production in the United States with more than 160 plants in that area alone.
