Sep. 25--OCALA, Fla. -- You could say retailing is in Michael and Phil Goldman's blood. After all, their family has been selling things in Marion County for four generations. From iceboxes to the latest stainless steel Sub-Zero refrigerator, the Goldman family members say they've been selling for a century.

"It has been consistently running, we know, since 1905," said Michael Goldman, who along with his brother Phil, runs Goldman Appliances on Southwest Fifth Street.

"From that time to now, it has been six days a week. It has not stopped since," Michael Goldman said. "It's one of those things you grow up in, and you don't know anything different."
