A national partnership of government and non-profit associations has formed to create public awareness of safe recreational water maintenance practices.
The Healthy Pools Partnership includes the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Consumers League, Water Quality and Health Council, Chlorine Chemistry Council, and the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals.
Together, they plan to help the public recognize healthy swimming facilities and practice good hygiene to prevent the spread of RWIs.
