EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. _ It didn't finish anywhere near the end zone and accounted for only 20 yards in a game that had 506, but it was the most important play of this atonal symphony, and you could make a strong argument that it was the one that sealed the Dolphins' loss Sunday afternoon.
The Jets stood third-and-12 at their 18-yard line in the early moments of the fourth quarter with the Dolphins finally feeling a swell of momentum and rubbery-armed quarterback Chad Pennington facing a turning point in this tedious mess.
